Buzzworks Bee Experience

Gift of a fun day discovering the fascinating world of bees

These are memorable and exciting sessions for individuals and families, where you can suit-up and explore a hive while learning all about the fascinating world of bees. You will get answers to all the questions you have about these wonderful creatures while visiting our BuzzWorks discovery centre and apiary, set in a nature reserve and surrounded by our tranquil garden and pond. Our friendly, experienced beekeepers will open and explore a real hive so that you can see the bees at work up close.

This session is for everyone who wants a one-off fun experience with bees. It is suggested that those looking to start an interest in beekeeping long-term should select instead the introductory “Taster Day” that we offer for £60 for a six hour session.

Your fun experience may also include one or more of the following : a garden tour, video footage of a hive , close up of bees using a digital microscope, a visit to the beekeepers shed and honey tasting . Each participant also gets a goody bag with a jar of our own delicious honey to take home.
