Open Days
Open Days are very popular and free to attend. Lots of fun activities for all the family and the opportunity to learn more about bees. Food and drink are available to purchase as well as our own delicious honey.
Taster Days
Taster Days are six hour sessions for budding and aspiring beekeepers to discover what is involved in the craft of beekeeping. Dates for 2024 are Sunday 21st July, Sunday 25th Aug and Sunday 8th September.

Our free family open days are held during the summer months at our BuzzWorks Bee Discovery Centre. Make a seed ball, craft with beeswax, have tea and cake or peak inside the observation hive. Open days are 9th June, 14th July and 17th August 2024.

Come to the Hitchin Craft and Farmer’s Market on the last Saturday of every month and buy our honey and bee-related products from the BuzzWorks stall.
